Emotional Rescue

By Gary On September 2, 2009 Under Uncategorized

Dealing with emotions is a constant battle for some of us. Be they positive or negative they do tend to take control of our lives in a very obtuse fashion. Without knowing your every action may be a direct result of your current emotional state.

The issues you have in life are never about another person, in truth they are about yourself. To recognize and accept this fact is the first step in dealing with your emotions in a positive manner. We often see in others what we do not like about ourselves, therefore projecting those feeling onto others.

We all possess more power, in a spiritual sense, than we think. When an effort is made to look inside ourselves to find understanding and acceptance where before you had none, we can usually get to that point. This positive approach is noticed by others and returned in the same fashion.

And negative things, too, are mirrored in this way. If you feel resentful much of the time for the hardships you have faced in life, you are likely to attract more reasons to be resentful. And you will attract other people who are resentful themselves, perhaps toward you. And you will see people being resentful even when in fact they are not.

You can use this information to help you see yourself more objectively, to bring to the surface issues that you have previously buried.

To move forward we need to change the energy we put out so that we attract the people and circumstances that match our true goals, our true self, rather than the suppressed and unfinished business of childhood or the decisions we made as a result of painful past experiences. Placing blame on others only sets the stage for that situation to reappear until we acknowledge the life lesson and evolve as a person. Healing comes from taking self responsibility and changing our perception of the event or person.

Power is recognizing that you are the source of your life – that you create in your subjective reality (your beliefs) and this is mirrored in the physical world through the power of God, of which we are each a part. The vibration and energy of God’s power is Love. If our creation is not of love then it comes back and hits us in the face and from that we learn. That’s Karma.

Association becomes simulation. Negative breeds negative. Positive breeds positive. You go where you put your mind. The challenge is to remove the continual bombardment of advertising and determine the place your mind should be. This would include the continual bombardment of religion, god, zombie Jesus, mohamad and the rest of the false Gods.

I got lost when you leaped from something that makes perfect sense to injecting the fantasy part about God. It is an extreme leap with zero evidence. You are only left with leaping from a metaphysical concept to fantasy based entirely on faith aka; superstition. Fortunatelly for me and what works in my life is evidence and fact. Unfortunately what works for the cud chewing masses is superstition, fear, and the need to be controlled by believing in a higher power. When one realizes that they themselves are the highest power, then responsibility in ones destiny is realized, true freedom is exprienced less the control of mankinds false governments and laws.

Other than that I enjoyed the article. Very well written.

As before I stated I understand your lack of belief in any “higher power”. That is your right. But to call others “cud chewing masses” seems a bit omnipotent to say the least. The lack of understanding of others vantage points is the basis for all conflict.

Besides, if we all agreed on everything, then this and all other discussion forums would be a complete and utter bore now wouldn’t they. Point taken.

“Cud chewing masses” those who keep their heads down allowing themselves to be led around by their nose rings ignoring facts based on fear and superstition. That is the majority of people in the world today. How can you explain the culturally different religions. Why are muslims, muslims predominantly from the brown people of the middle east? Why are Christians, Christians predominantly white people from the Western World? Why does the entire Asian world have multiple dominating religions?

Those questions are posed in their most theoretical form. Yes there are Western Muslims and Buddhists, Yes there are middle eastern Christians. I am speaking of the dominance of those religions in those areas and peoples.

My theory is because they are the cud chewing masses who are indoctrinated from birth into a religion and their indoctrination includes a great deal of fear. Christians burned people alive for trying to go against their beliefs or for even slightly deviating from specific aspects such as who is the direct representative on earth speaking to and for God. History and facts are there.

How many people bounce to war in the name of their religions? How many people have been tortured, kept ignorant, kept in poverty, murdered, wars fought, money spent on churches, buildings, mosks, etc. all in the name of some religion.

There is zero proof of God other than faith. Some would argue that you can’t prove that there isn’t a God. You don’t need to prove a negative.
Theories in order to be true have to have concrete evidence. So therefore if not supported by fact it defaults to faith alone. Faith is an emotionally driven function therefore a superstition based mostly from fear. Any being that functions from fear and superstition is allowing themselves to be led by people who only have their self interest in mind and they sacrifice their own self interest and potential from that function.

Cud chewing masses may seem a little harsh but when you comprehensivelly look at history and the impedence of progress of the human mind due to weak, non-thinking, superstitious, lazy, fearful people who allow themselves to be led to the slaughter, it is a kind categorization.

Here is an non religous example of the same caliber. Obama was elected mostly because he recieved 98% of the black vote, a great deal of the hispanic vote, but nobody gets elected without the white vote. The white vote that put him into office were the young 18-24 year old white kids who are in college and do not have bills and responsibilities like most of their parents. Wa-la, Obama is elected because most of the people allowed themselves to be tricked by his “change” routine. They were led to the cliff by his carisma and now they are being pushed off of the cliff and most don’t know they are falling. Ergo the cud chewing masses lose again. You can’t blame the blacks, for one they don’t know any better they function from the base of the victimization of slavery and they feel like every day should be payday to them from the whites. Most of them didn’t know the issues, didn’t and couldn’t understand the issues. Those intelligent enough to know and understand were the 2% that didn’t vote for Obama. That is probably proportionatelly a good snap shot of their society. We are tricked into believing that it is greater than 2% because of the unfounded pedastal that we place athletes on thinking that they have a brain, which most don’t. But this conversation is tracking into a different direction for debate. The point is the cud chewing masses were tricked by a smooth talking sooth sayer – Obama. What would be a kinder gentler name to call them? Dumb asses come to mind but that is cussing so I wouldn’t want to use it. My mind is always open……..

We have found common ground when it comes to our friend Barrack Obama. In my fifty years on this planet I have not witnessed such blatant disrespect for our country and what it stands for.

If there is any truth in the statement “You can judge a person by whom they surround themselves with”, then we are in for some tumultuous times indeed. That brings us to one positive note…Van Jones has resigned….Wow, gonna miss that guy. What a pleasure he was to be around.

As far as labeling everyone that believes in god as being led around by the nose I believe is a bit unfair. Most reside somewhere in the middle. My point is that weather or not they believe in a higher power is simply a choice made by them at some point in their life.

I for instance do not feel that I am being led around by anything or any belief. I do believe in a higher power to the extent that I try and be a respecfull and kind individual whenever I can. The ten commandments are really based on just being a good person with a couple exceptions. I am saying regardless of your religious beliefs, I am sure you do not want your neighbor to covet thy wife..Right ? Stealing, murder, adultery are all against the rules…nothing wrong with that logic.

Where I do draw the line and where we find common ground is when lives are lost due to the fact that one sides religion is deemed superior to another. To claim superiority based on religion or anything else is just plain wrong. My approach to that subject is live and let live. If you choose to believe in any higher power then who am I to tell you otherwise. Or anyone else for that matter.

The bottom line is this, we are all different in many, many ways. To paint any situation with a broad brush simply is ineffective. You may think as you like. But in essence you are just plain wrong. What works for you may not work for me. I have stated in this forum before that the lack of understanding of this is the basis for all turmoil.

I am not a “bleeding heart” by any means. If someone is guilty of a capital crime then I am the first one to say “hang em on Main St.”…film at 11. But to judge someone for a belief that is different from yours is not my style. If it does not effect me then so be it…knock your self out. If you in turn try to inflict said beliefs on me when I am not receptive then expect to hit a wall. This wall hits back also.

This all boils down to basic common sense really. Do unto others and mind you own business…Peace out
